Event details
Event: Brightcove scheduled System Maintenance.
Timing: Scheduled System Maintenance will commence at 10:00 PM US ET, Friday 19-July, 2013 [Saturday 20-July, 2013 at 3:00 AM GMT ].
Duration: Up to 3 hours to complete.
Expected Impact:
- For all customers except those in Japan:
- Videos will continue to play in your published players and the Brightcove Media Read API will operate normally during this maintenance. You may experience intermittent player load failures. Uncached videos will show errors initially then succeed.
- Brightcove Studio, Live App, and Reporting will all be inaccessible. Analytics data will be collected during this window, no data will be lost. Live Streaming will be active for active events only.
- Brightcove Uploads will be offline via Studio, Write API, and Batch. Uploads that are underway will complete normally. Batch and Write API submissions will receive an error and should be re-submitted after the end of the maintenance period.
- For customers in Japan only:
- Videos will continue to play in your published players during this maintenance, Media Read API will continue to function. All players will continue to load. Studio will be available, but login will not (in order to use the studio during the maintenance window a user must login up to 21 hours prior to get an extended token).
