This topic provides information on autostart issues with the Smart Player when using the Microsoft Edge browser.
Note that the Smart Player is a legacy player - you should migrate to the new Brightcove Player.
We have encountered the following two issues when using the Smart Player in the Edge browser:
- Autoplay does not function correctly in the Edge browser.
- It appears that Edge also fails to load Flash based video if the width of the player is less the 398 pixels.
